Three Graces Legal partners with InterRisk Solutions!

05 February 2016

Three Graces Legal are delighted to be partnering with InterRisk Solutions to offer services to individuals who require assistance with claiming for personal injury compensation arising out of accidents involving utility companies.
This will ensure the claimant is looked after throughout the whole process, from initial consultation with InterRisk and, where necessary, Three Graces Legal, through to the conclusion of the claim.

Aaron Pearson, Director of Three Graces Legal said: "This is an excellent opportunity to attempt to put right some of the many wrongs that have been created by the personal injury legal sector. For too long, too many law firms were only interested in increasing their costs and muddying the process while doing so. Often, the accident and injury element would become almost secondary to the politics of the case”.

Due to changes in regulation, personal injury law firms have been forced to move to a fixed-fee way of working within a claims portal. This has, for the most part, often resulted in those firms waging a tactical battle against the defendant in order to escape the fixed-fee regime and thus increase its final costs.

Aaron went on "The purpose of the claims portal was to streamline the process and reduce the cost of bringing a personal injury claim. To the contrary, many firms adopt an aggressive approach, which not only means the Defendant has to pay more in costs, but the Claimant is left confused and disillusioned by the process. Eventually they are compensated, but they walk away bemused and often with a poor impression of the Defendant."

"What we are doing with InterRisk is to create an all-round service which benefits all. Our duty is entirely to the Claimant. We will not finish until we have succeeded in getting the best outcome for them. They are the priority. But we can do this by working with the Defendant to ensure the overriding objectives [of the CPR] are achieved, and that the process is as smooth and cost-effective as the reforms envisaged. Court should not be seen as a way to milk costs. Ultimately, the Claimant walks away happy and has a more positive impression of the Defendant."
