With Daniel Johnson, Aaron built Three Graces Legal from scratch, setting up all the infrastructure, compliance systems, governance and processes to ensure the firm was able to succeed as a commercial brand in a difficult climate. The legal sector has undergone a lot of changes over the past 10-15 years and it is vital that there is a degree of versatility to ensure ongoing sustainability and growth. Aaron has identified key growth areas across the sector, such as data protection and cyber security insurance.

Experience
Aaron has many years’ experience dealing with litigation and civil disputes. He has acted on behalf of small and medium-size entities as well as large multi-nationals across a range of sectors such as transport, logistics & distribution, manufacturing, public sector and aviation.
Aaron has advised on commercial disputes involving issues such as insurance coverage, contract variations and negotiations.
He has acted on behalf of both Claimant/Applicant and Defendant/Respondents in matters both in the County Court and High Court.
Having been able to see complex legal arguments from both sides, he can identify gaps in a party’s evidence on which a case may ultimately turn.
Using this experience, Aaron has been able to enhance his own skill-set to help with advisory matters for data protection audits and compliance as similar adversarial principles can apply when dealing with regulatory bodies or rebuffing a potential claim. Aaron has built up his knowledge of data protection over the past four years, having first taken an interest in the growing importance of cyber security and threat management.
He has taken his knowledge onto an academic level and has incorporated his no-how as the firm’s compliance officer to be able to identify best practice and governance. This has enabled him to assist and advise other professional service businesses with their own compliance and data protection projects.
